GREEN BAY, Wis. - He makes it look so easy. And this year when #85 Greg Jennings makes a touchdown catch for the Packers it will benefit a Green Bay shelter, the House of Hope.

"It's a great opportunity not only to give back to the Green Bay community, but to allow people to see what we're trying to accomplish," said Greg Jennings, Green Bay Packers.

The program is called "Touchdowns for Hope," and it's a new partnership that began this year. The Greg Jennings Foundation will donate $1,000 for every touchdown Greg makes this NFL season.

The partnership caught shelter officials by surprise.

"I was in awe. I was really excited. I thought this is an awesome opportunity for the House of Hope," said Jennifer Allen, House of Hope Director.

The shelter is for young mothers, ages 18 to 24, and their children. It's a safe place, where the women make positive changes in their lives.

"We work on getting their GED, getting them job ready. We work on parenting," said Allen.

It's also a place that has some familiarity for Greg's wife, Nicole. When she was a young child in Michigan, she and her mom stayed at a shelter, like House of Hope, for a period of time.

"It was very helpful and actually I don't know where we would have gone during that time, if we didn't have a place that was able to assist us," said Nicole Jennings, President of the Greg Jennings Foundation.

Now, the Jennings would like to help others who are in the same situation.

"We all come from different backgrounds and you never know when it will be your turn to be in need," said Nicole Jennings.

"One of the things that I pride myself in and my wife as well is allowing people to see the greater scope of who we are as a person. Not only 'The Green Bay Packers player' or 'Greg Jennings' wife' but Nicole and Greg. Who we are and what we represent," said Greg Jennings.

They're hoping their "Touchdowns for Hope" program will shine a bit more light, on this little shelter.
