Hunter injured in Shawano Co.

BARTLEME TOWNSHIP - A hunter is recovering from gunshot wounds in Shawano County after an accident.

It happened in Bartleme Township, North of River Road.

Officials say a hunting party was conducting a deer drive when one of the hunters mistook another member of the party for a deer and opened fire.

The hunter was shot in the right arm, and taken to the hospital. The hunter is expected to be okay.
