Man charged with possessing child porn

APPLETON - An Appleton man has been charged with possession of child pornography.

Jeremy Eckert, 25, was arrested last week at his home at 815 W. Third Street. During a search of his computer, more than one hundred images of child pornography were found.

According to the criminal complaint, Eckert admitted to investigators he downloaded the pictures using an internet file sharing service.

Eckert has been charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
