GRAND CHUTE - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are making some big changes to Fox Cities Stadium.
The renovations costing an estimated $400,000 include the addition of several new seating areas, moving the bullpens, and a boardwalk.
"Over the past few years, we have seen an increased demand for our premium seating areas and with this project we hope to give even more fans the opportunity to utilize our patio tables, box seats, and a great new area along the first base line," said Timber Rattlers president Rob Zerjav in a statement.
Some of the new sections include an “all-you-can-eat” seating area and a sand beach behind the right field fence.
Construction is already underway on the project and should be completed by Opening Day.
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are a minor league baseball team
of the Midwest League. They are a low Class A affiliate of the
Milwaukee Brewers.
