Teen mugged in Appleton

APPLETON - Police are searching for a suspect after they say a 16-year-old was mugged on the street.

Officials say it happened around 9:30 Friday night in the 300 block of East Pacific Street.

The 16-year old victim says he was walking down the street when, the suspect came up to him, showed a knife, and demanded he drop his backpack. The victim ran to a nearby house to notify police

The suspect is described as a black man, 5'6", 200 pounds, wearing a gray sweatshirt.
