GREEN BAY - More than 250,000 lights are helping to make the holidays bright
“I think it's just gorgeous, it's beautiful. I'll sound like that little boy on TV, beautiful, beautiful!” said Audrey Wegner of Oshkosh.
“Very impressive you know just driving by it's impressive,” said Marcel McDermott.
Crowds of people came for the WPS Garden of Lights opening on Friday. Many young faces were in awe of the displays.
“I like Christmas lights because they look pretty and all the colors they have,” said one of those young patrons Madeleine McDermott.
“They love Christmas, they love the lights you know I figured it'd be a good night,” said her dad Marcel McDermott.
The lights are a tradition for many families. For others like the McDermott’s, it is a new experience.
“First time. Yeah, but I don't think it'll be our last,” said Marcel.
Christmas is still about a month away. But many people coming to
see these lights say the moment they see the displays, they are
instantly in the Christmas spirit.
