GREEN BAY - Governor Scott Walker stopped in Green Bay Thursday morning to promote a crackdown on online predators.
Walker was joined by state and local officials as well as a victim.
In the recently passed state budget, it includes funding for eight more people who would specifically focus in on internet crimes against children.
It includes a partnership with area schools as well as other state agencies.
Officials say the goal is to reduce the number of victims.
"We have to build our network of agents and investigators to fight a network that is more complex than we are. We did a case recently in Madison where the guy had 30 computers daisy-chained producing child pornography," said Ed Wall, Wisconsin Department of Justice.
The forum was held in the media center at Red Smith Middle School.
