FOND DU LAC - Fond du Lac police are looking for more information on a possible hit-and-run crash that left one woman injured last month.
Authorities said on Feb. 19, a 24-year-old Fond du Lac woman was found in the bathroom of the Press Box Tavern with severe facial injuries and scrapes on her right shoulder, elbow and hand; and left knee.
The woman said she did not remember how she got to the tavern, but remembered being hit by what she said was a green pickup truck in the area of Temperance and Scott streets. The crash was believed to have happened between 7:15 and 7:45 p.m. Police, however, did not find any evidence of a crash at that location.
The victim is described as 5’3” tall, weighing 115 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. That night, she was wearing a black winter coat with a fur collar.
Anyone who has information is asked to call the crime alert number at (920) 322-2740 or Det. Dan Razner at (920) 322-3724.
