GREEN BAY - The man police are calling the "Flat Tire Bandit" appeared in court Friday.
Fifty-year-old John Johnson is now charged with using a fake ID to obtain money, theft, and criminal damage to property.
Police say Johnson used a scam on unsuspecting women at Green Bay area stores. They say Johnson would flatten the tires and then offer to help the women fix the problem.
Police say Johnson would then make up an excuse to go into the car, and steal items including cash and credit cards.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety says if you were victimized by Johnson, officers want to hear from you.
