SEYMOUR - A fire at Seymour Middle School forces officials to cancel classes Friday.
The fire started after 10:30 Thursday night in the art room.
Authorities say a janitor noticed smoke, and called the fire department.
Firefighters believe an electrical problem caused the blaze, and say foul play is not suspected.
No injuries were reported.
Even though classes are canceled Friday, school employees should still report to work.
School officials hope to resume classes on Monday.
