GREEN BAY - The United States Postal Service announced Monday it will not be closing the Green Bay processing center.
In an effort to save money, the postal service looked at consolidating the Green Bay location into the Oshkosh center.
Closing the Green Bay location would have meant the end of the Green Bay postmark.
The Postal Service says it will now look at consolidating operations in Oshkosh into the Green Bay processing center.
