Overnight business fire in Sheboygan County

TOWN OF WILSON - One firefighter was hurt and a wood pallet company is destroyed after a fire in Sheboygan County.

It broke out around 10:30 Wednesday night at Lakeshore Pallet Company in the town of Wilson, in the southeastern part of Sheboygan County. More than a dozen fire departments were called to the scene. When authorities got there, all four of the company's buildings were engulfed.

One firefighter suffered a back injury and was taken to a Sheboygan hospital.

Fire investigators, including the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the state fire marshal's office, are trying to pinpoint the cause. The fire is considered suspicious.

The company produces wood pallets and wood pellets used in wood burning stoves.
