TOWN OF METOMEN - One person died and another is seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County.
It happened Wednesday around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Sheldon Rd. and Brandon Rd. in the Town of Metomen.
Sheriff’s officials say a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Sheboygan woman didn’t stop at a stop sign and collided with another vehicle. That driver, a 61-year-old Brandon man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sheboygan woman was ejected from her vehicle during the crash and her vehicle also caught fire. She was airlifted by Flight for Life to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries.
The names of those involved are not being released at this time.
