TOWN OF MENASHA - Money for a long-awaited Fox Valley road construction project is included in Gov. Scott Walker’s budget proposal.

Under the plan, the Highway 41/10/441 interchange in the town of Menasha would be completed and the Roland Kampo Bridge over Little Lake Butte des Morts would be widened. Currently, the interchange does not have ramps allowing drivers to go from 41 north to 441/10 west, or from 441/10 east to 41 north.

Last October, the Transportation Projects Commission approved $390 million for the project.

Department of Transportation officials say it would likely be six years until construction is completed.
