APPLETON - Appleton police have arrested four people in connection with a drug investigation.
Officers say around 4:20 p.m. Monday, they went to a house on the 2600 block of S. Jackson St., with a warrant for a man who skipped a court appearance. Police say they were let into the house and met several people in the basement. While there, they saw evidence of drug distribution, as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia. They say they then secured the scene and got a search warrant.
After further investigation, police say they arrested Kong A. Vang, 18; Daniel W. Luce, 26; Tyler N. Thorson, 20; and Matthew D. Lenzer, 20. Vang was the man police say they were originally looking for. Police are recommending charges involving methamphetamine and marijuana against him, charges involving methamphetamine against Thorson and Lenzer, and charges of bail jumping against Luce. However, prosecutors have so far not formally charged any of the men with any crimes related to these arrests.
