APPLETON - Nearly 200 artists from seven states showed off their work Sunday at "Art at the Park" in Appleton.
The art festival featured several new activities including an art area for children, as well as a community mural project.
Work on the mural began Saturday and is following a "From Farm to Plate" theme.
Once finished, it will be displayed in the second floor windows of the CHASE building on W. College Ave. in Appleton.
"It's a great way to get children involved at an early age in art, and at all different levels. So we're hoping as they become adults we'll continue to see them at the Trout Museum of Art visiting us and the exhibitions in the museum," said the Trout Museum of Art's executive director Pamela Williams-Lime.
The museum hosted the 52nd annual event.
