Attempted armed robbery in Appleton

APPLETON - Appleton police are searching for a man after an apartment break-in and attempted armed robbery.

It happened Wednesday just after 12:30 p.m. in the 400 block of North Bennett Street.

Police say a man forced his way into an apartment, showed a gun, and demanded drugs.

Officers say the man ran away when he was told there weren't any drugs.
