TOWN OF ALGOMA - Sheriff’s deputies are looking for the man who robbed a bank near Oshkosh.
The Winnebago Co. Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the BMO Harris Bank, 2100 Omro Rd., in the town of Algoma just after 11 a.m. Tuesday. A man had gone into the bank, gave the teller a hand-written note and demanded money. He did not show any weapons or make any threats, investigators say.
The man was described as being between 35 and 40 years old, weighing between 225 and 240 pounds. He had a mustache and was wearing sunglasses, a tan baseball cap with a camouflage bill, a black or blue sweater with red and white rectangles on the chest, blue or black wind pants with white stripes, and may have been wearing hiking boots. Surveillance photos of the man can be seen to the left.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (920) 236-7316.
