OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) - Country music singer Aaron Tippin and one of the pilots from the US Airways "splashdown" flight in the Hudson River are among the highlights at the Experimental Aircraft Association's convention in Oshkosh.
Weather permitting, organizers plan a mass hot air balloon launch to start the day Saturday.
EAA Young Eagles co-chairman Jeff Skiles, who was one of the pilots who helped land a plane on the Hudson River in 2009, and pilot Chuck Yeager will also be at AirVenture, answering questions on Saturday.
Aaron Tippin, an avid pilot and EAA member, will give a performance in the evening.
EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh runs through Sunday.
