DARBOY - Charlie Knuth's skin is healing after a recent admission to the hospital.
He suffers from a painful skin disease.
His mother, Trisha, says in her online journal that he was admitted to a Minnesota hospital last Sunday after a blood culture came back positive.
Trisha says Charlie spent a few days in the hospital but was discharged.
She says Charlie's skin then started to lose some of its toughness, but since then, it's returned to the toughness and he's recovering. He's able to stand and now relearning how to walk.
Trisha hopes other children with the disease will be able to recover just as Charlie has, and she says she hopes to start a website documenting his progress.
