APPLETON - Christina Rogers, of Appleton, was sentenced on Wednesday for getting into a fight with teenagers while she says she was defending her daughter.
Rogers has been sentenced to spend 20 days in jail and serve 100 hours of community service. She is also required to write letters of apology to the victims.
Rogers was convicted of substantial battery after she and her sister, Jennifer Rogers, got into a fight with some teenage girls outside an Appleton middle school last April.
Rogers said they got involved when she saw another student attack her 14-year-old daughter.
