APPLETON - Some of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions come to life in a new exhibit in Appleton.
"Machines in Motion" is on display at the "History Museum at the Castle."
It features more than 40 models of machines da Vinci created and envisioned during the Renaissance.
Italian artisans crafted each piece based on the artist's sketches.
"It's literally the biggest thing we've ever had at the museum, it's a world renowned exhibit, it has traveled the world and it has come to Wisconsin for the first time right here at the history museum," said museum director Terry Bergen.
The exhibit will be at the museum through January 6.
