NEENAH - The contractor burned while working at a Fox Valley car dealership is improving.

Faith Technologies, the man’s employer, says the 20-year-old has been upgraded to fair condition at Theda Clark Medical Center. He is expected to be released Sunday.

The man was hospitalized Thursday morning with first- and second-degree burns in the incident at a Bergstrom car dealership on Victory Lane.

Faith Technologies says the work was routine and involved the removal of temporary electrical equipment. A short occurred, which led to the worker being burned. Faith Technologies is working with OSHA on its investigation into the incident.

The man’s name has not been released.
