Fire at Waste Management in Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC - No one was hurt after a fire at Waste Management in Fond du Lac.

It happened Friday around 8:40 a.m. at 1207 S. Hickory St.

When firefighters arrived on scene there was heavy black smoke coming from a large waste pile.

Authorities say there was some smoke and fire damage.

Fire crews were on scene for about three hours.

Fond du Lac police were also called for traffic control.
