FOND DU LAC - A Fond du Lac firefighter will not lose his job after questions were raised about his use of company time and equipment.
The city's police and fire commission said Friday there wasn't enough evidence to fire Edgar Ramirez-Tellez.
Instead he will be suspended for one 24-hour shift without pay.
The fire chief accused Ramirez-Tellez of using a department computer and a sick day to run a restaurant.
Ramirez-Tellez says he did use a computer for research, but didn't know it was against the rules.
