APPLETON - People gathered Monday night at Appleton’s Lawrence Memorial Chapel to honor the life of Martin Luther King for the 22nd year.

A United Church of Christ minister from Milwaukee encouraged the audience to focus on empowerment and remaining hopeful no matter what the situation.
