APPLETON - The case against the man who allegedly tried to burn down a Planned Parenthood clinic is moving forward, at least at a state level.
Francis Grady is charged with stealing a vehicle in Outagamie County.
In that portion of the case, the judge ruled Grady is competent to stand trial.
Prosecutors say he used the vehicle while trying to burn down the clinic earlier this year.
His trial on a state level is expected to start in January.
The charges related to the fire are being handled in federal court.
He was convicted on those charges.
However, sentencing was delayed because a competency exam was ordered on a federal level.
