GREEN LAKE COUNTY - Three people were arrested after an alleged break-in in Green Lake County.
Sheriff's officials say Dalton firefighters saw some suspicious activity in a building near the firehouse after they got out of a meeting around 10 p.m. Monday. Sheriff's officials and Markesan police responded and caught one suspect, with two others running away. Officials discovered the building had been broken into; they also found some stolen items including a sign from a local cemetery.
About an hour and a half later, the other two suspects were arrested during a traffic stop.
Police say the three arrested are an 18-year-old woman and two girls, ages 16 and 17, all from the Pardeeville area in Columbia County. Police are considering recommending charges of burglary, criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage alcohol operation and consumption.
