DODGE COUNTY - A hunter in Dodge County is safe after getting stranded.
It happened Monday night, as the 75-year-old Horicon man was hunting alone on some islands in the Horicon Marsh in the Town of Burnett.
Family members called the sheriff's department when he didn't return home.
Authorities say the man couldn't find his boat to get back to shore, and did not have a cell phone to call for help.
Search crews found him about an hour later, and used a boat to bring him back.
