Lara Plamann family statement

The family of Lara Plamann, who was killed in 2007, released the following statement upon the arrest of three people in the case :

"We are pleased to hear of the arrests made in connection with Lara’s murder, but are well aware of the long road to justice ahead.

"The 5 years since Lara’s death have passed quickly, but also felt like an eternity with no real positive news until now.

"We’ve had our own theories as to what took place that evening, and these arrests have confirmed some of our suspicions.

"We’d like to thank the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department, investigators and the District Attorney’s office for the tremendous amount of hard work that has taken place over the years."
