Two Northeast Wisconsin colleges have made The Princeton Review’s list of 373 best colleges.
Lawrence University and Ripon College are among five Wisconsin schools on the list.
The publication’s 19th edition provides profiles of the 373 colleges — less than 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges — it considers the nation’s top schools along with school rating scores in eight categories. The book also includes “Top 20” lists in 62 categories based on surveys of students attending the colleges.
Other Wisconsin schools on the list are Beloit College, Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Eight more state schools — including St. Norbert College in De Pere — made the publication's list of best 152 colleges in the Midwest. Carthage College, Edgewood College, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Northland College, UW-Eau Claire, UW-Milwaukee and UW-River Falls were the other Wisconsin colleges listed.
