OSHKOSH - Going to Lifest this year? You can bring a friend to opening night – for free.

The Christian music festival has announced that anyone with a paid admission can bring a friend to its first night, July 11. Military members can also receive free admission to opening night.

Opening night features Switchfoot; Brian Head Welch, a founding member of Korn; and the band Downhere, whose lead singer, Marc Martel, recently appeared on “American Idol” as part of the Queen Extravaganze showcase.

Lifest runs from July 11-15 at Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh.
