CHILTON - It was pay day Monday for one Wisconsin woman.
Jeannette Sroka received a $1 million check in Chilton.
That's where she bought a winning Powerball ticket, just north of her hometown of Malone.
After taxes, her lump sum winnings will be about $670,000.
For selling the winning ticket, the Kwik Trip station won $20,000.
Sroka says she has been playing the same lottery numbers for about a year and a half. But it took an extra day to find out she had won.
"Well I didn't actually find out until Thursday evening watching the news when they said there was a Powerball ticket in Chilton sold, and then I got all excited because I knew those were my numbers that came up on the screen,” said Sroka.
But Sroka says she isn't quitting her job as a nurse after winning the lottery.
Two other $1 million tickets sold near Milwaukee haven't been claimed yet.
