GRAND CHUTE - Police say one man was taken to the hospital after his vehicle hit a utility pole in Grand Chute Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just after 10 a.m. on Wisconsin Ave., a little bit west of Hwy. 441. The 50-year-old driver told police he was headed west on Wisconsin Ave. when he drove off the road and hit the pole. The driver said the crash may have been related to a medical condition.

The driver got out of the vehicle before police arrived. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed for about two hours as utility crews made repairs.
