OSHKOSH - A 26-year-old Oshkosh man was shot at his apartment during an attempted robbery.
Police say around 11:30 Tuesday night two men stopped at the victim’s apartment in the 400 block of Merritt Ave.
Investigators say one of the suspects pulled a gun when the victim opened his door.
The victim told police he tried to take the gun away from the suspect, but instead got shot.
He was brought to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
After the shooting, the suspects ran away.
Police believe the victim was targeted and this is not a random act. They also don’t believe there is a threat to the public.
