MENASHA - A 42-year-old Neenah man was arrested for his ninth OWI on New Year’s Day.
Just before 3 a.m. Tuesday officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Broad St. in Menasha for a vehicle that had driven onto a snow bank.
Upon arrival the driver tried to run away, but was caught after a foot chase.
Police say the driver was intoxicated and was brought to the hospital for a blood test.
He was then booked into the Winnebago County Jail.
Charges of ninth OWI, resisting an officer and harassment of police animals have been referred to the Winnebago County District Attorney’s Office.
