TOWN OF BUCHANAN - No one was hurt after a house fire in Outagamie County Tuesday night.
Officials say the call came in around 10:30 p.m. for a fire at W2445 Snowberry Drive in the Town of Buchanan.
Town of Buchanan Fire Chief Rick Schroeder said, "The sky was lit up about a block away from the fire."
The homeowners were able to safely evacuate, and no firefighters were injured.
The Town of Buchanan, Village of Kimberly, Village of Combined Locks and the Town of Harrison fire departments all responded to the fire. Schroeder says so many fire departments responded because many firefighters are deer hunting this week. And the area fire departments are helping each other out.
Schroeder says they are not sure what caused the fire and an investigation is underway.
