APPLETON - No one was hurt in a Monday morning fire.
The Appleton Fire Department was called to 1716 W. Packard Street for a fire in a attic.
Fire officials believe the fire was caused by grease buildup in a kitchen exhaust fans.
The residents will not be displaced.
The Appleton Fire Department takes this as an opportunity to remind all residents to clean and maintain their range hoods and kitchen exhaust fans.
