OSHKOSH - Oshkosh police have identified the victim of a fatal duplex fire as Randi I. Shaw.
Police got a call about a fire in the upper portion of a duplex in the 1300 block of Eastman Street around 4:20 Saturday morning.
Officials say the 56-year-old Oshkosh woman and the dog were dead when they arrived on the scene.
Preliminary autopsy results show smoke inhalation was her cause of death.
The lower portion of the duplex was not damaged by the fire but sustained some water and smoke damage.
Crews were on the scene for about six hours.
The Oshkosh Fire Department says it's undetermined if the fire was suspicious, and a cause has also not yet been identified.
