Oshkosh business closing; 30 laid-off

OSHKOSH - An Oshkosh industrial paint and priming company will be shutting down, leaving about 30 workers without jobs.

Whitefield Industrial Coatings notified the state this week that it will be closing the doors of its facility located at 2800 N. Main St.

In the letter to the state, the company says it lost a significant amount of business from a major customer.

The company says work from the Oshkosh location will be transitioned to its Green Bay facility.
