OSHKOSH - Oshkosh police say officers have arrested a man in connection with a hit and run crash that injured a bicyclist.

The crash happened Tuesday, July 25, at about 1:40 in the 3400 block of Fond du Lac Road.

A 33-year-old Oshkosh man was riding his bicycle home after work when the suspect's vehicle hit him head-on.

The man was thrown from his bicycle and suffered a broken ankle and scrapes.

Saturday, police said they found the vehicle involved in the crash.

Officials say a 31-year-old Oshkosh man was taken into custody for Hit and Run Causing Great Bodily Injury.

The man is in the Winnebago County Jail.
