Oshkosh police investigating garage break-ins

OSHKOSH - Oshkosh police are looking for a burglar who hit garages on the city’s south and west sides.

Police said late Saturday night and early Sunday morning, garages in the 1200 block of Greenfield Tr., the 800 block of Hennessey, the 1000 block of Reichow Ave. and the 900 block of Huntington Pl. were broken into. A vehicle was stolen from the garage on Greenfield Tr. It was found that same night at Creekside Dr. and Omro Rd. A witness saw the vehicle in the area of Tammy Dr. and Old Omro Rd. and told police it was being driven by a white boy around 16 or 17 years old, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Beside the stolen vehicle, the burglar rummaged through a vehicle in the 900 block of Huntington Pl. but did not take anything. The burglar did, however, take some loose change in the burglary on Hennessey.
