OSHKOSH - A Walmart store in Oshkosh was evacuated for about 45 minutes Thursday morning because of a bomb threat.
Police say someone called the store with the threat around 9:45. People were then evacuated from the store at 351 S. Washburn St. It reopened just after 10:30 after a police search failed to turn up anything suspicious.
Oshkosh police are asking anyone with information on the bomb threat to call them at (920) 236-5700. Anonymous tips can left left with Winnebago County Wide Crime Stoppers by phone at (920) 231-8477, online at winnebagocrimestoppers.org or by text-messaging IGOTYA and the tip to 274637.
