OSHKOSH - An Oshkosh woman was hurt in a crash after a tire came off her car on Highway 41, state troopers say.
The crash happened just before 8 p.m. Sunday on Highway 41 southbound near Highway 21 in Oshkosh. The State Patrol says the right rear tire came off 20-year-old Janessa Sayavedra's car, causing it to veer to the left. The car hit the median barrier, went across both southbound lanes, hit the right shoulder barrier and ended up in a lane of traffic. One lane of the highway was blocked for about 45 minutes.
Sayavedra was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
