NEENAH - A standoff in Neenah is over.

Police say they were called to a home on Higgins Ave. around 12:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of a man with a gun.

Police Chief Kevin Wilkinson says the SWAT team went into the home and there is no current threat.

Wilkinson says officers did not take action against the suspect.

Police did not provide details about what happened to the man.

Neighbors were notified of the standoff, but no one was evacuated. The Neenah Joint School District planned to hold students but didn't need to.
