APPLETON - A former school bus driver has been sentenced for crashing his bus into a Kaukauna home.
Richard Kleiber, 51, of Neenah, was sentenced to two years probation for the October 2009 crash. He must also give up his commercial driver's license.
He reached a plea deal with prosecutors last December, in which he pleaded no contest to a charge of fleeing an officers in exchange for a more serious charge of endangerment being dropped.
At the time of the crash, the bus company said Kleiber blacked out right before the incident.
No one was hurt in the crash.
