OSHKOSH - Oshkosh police say seven people were arrested following an armed robbery at an outlet mall clothing store.
It happened Wednesday around 2:25 p.m. at the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store in the 3000 block of S. Washburn St.
Police say a group of people walked into the store, removed approximately $10,000 in clothing items and threatened to shoot employees if they interfered or called police. Authorities say no one showed a weapon.
A short time later, Oshkosh police notified other agencies of the incident. Two vehicles were stopped on Highway 41 with assistance from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Slinger Police Department and the Theresa Police Department.
Authorities say the stolen merchandise was recovered and the seven were transported back to Oshkosh.
Police say the seven people taken into custody are from Milwaukee. They range in age from 25 to 17 years old. They were brought to the Winnebago County Jail.
