Lineman's rodeo comes to Little Chute

LITTLE CHUTE - Utility linemen are testing their skills Friday in Little Chute.

The Municipal Electric Utilities of Wisconsin are holding their fifth annual Lineman’s Rodeo. Organizers say the event is meant to challenge teams to a mutual aid situation where a nearby utility has experienced storm damage and crews are called in to repair power lines.

Competitors are judged on safety, work practice, neatness, ability and equipment and tool handling.
