WINNEBAGO COUNTY - A new OWI Task Force will be on patrol this weekend.
The Winnebago County OWI Task Force consists of six agencies: the Oshkosh Police Department, Neenah Police Department, Menasha Police Department, Town of Menasha Police Department, Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Each deployment will include 10 to 12 officers.
Locations will rotate amongst the different communities.
Twenty-five deployments will be held beginning this weekend until September of 2013.
The Winnebago OWI Task Force is being paid for with a $73,000 grant from the Bureau of Transportation Safety.
