HOWARD - A 23-year-old man is in custody after crashing his SUV into a house in Howard.
It happened Thursday around 3:37 a.m. in the 2400 block of Glendale Ave.
FOX 11's Angela Kelly was on the scene and took some pictures. She spoke with Brown County sheriff's officials, they say the man in the SUV was following a woman in another car, when he lost control and struck a house.
Sheriff’s officials say the crash followed a disturbance between the man and woman at a nearby apartment.
Authorities say the man had been drinking. They found a loaded and uncased .40 caliber handgun in his vehicle. Officials say the man did not have a permit to carry a concealed weapon.
Authorities say there is significant damage to the vehicle and some damage to the house.
No one was taken to the hospital.
